Chuck Petersen, who has spent his entire coaching career in the college ranks, will join me tonight on High School Football America at 4pm PDT tonight to talk about becoming the new head football coach at Orange Lutheran.
Petersen was named head coach on Monday. He takes over for Jim Kunau, who built the Lancers into a Southern California power.

Oaks Christian's Bill Redell Retires
by Jeff Fisher
High School Football America
The only head football coach that Oaks Christian has ever had, is retiring.
After 12-years with the Lions, Bill Redell is stepping down as the head coach of the program. The 70-year old Redell retires with an incredible record of 144-17-1 at the school with seven CIF-Southern Section titles.
Redell, who also coached at Crespi and St. Francis, amassed an overall record of 233-65-3.
A nationwide search will be conducted to find a replacement, although there are several assistants on Redell's staff that could be promoted into the head coaching position.
