Let's start in the Central Division where Elsinore stormed back from a 42-24 fourth quarter deficit to beat preseason #1 Rancho Verde 46-42 in the season opener for both teams.

According to The Press-Enterprise's David Lassen's story, Elsinore completed the comeback win over the defending CIF-SS Central champs when Noah Paculba returned a blocked 49-yards with 1:36 to go in the game. Rancho Verde, which brought a 14-game win streak into the contest, falls #7 in this week's rankings, while Elsinore climbs three spots to #6.
Summit, #2 in the preseason poll, climbs one spot to become the new #1 in the Central Division.
In the East Valley Division, Citrus Valley lost to Riverside Poly 40-15, thus tumbling from it's #1 perch to #4. Citrus Valley entered 2012 ranked #5 in High School Football America - SoCal's preseason poll.
Ontario Christian climbs one spot to become the new #1 in the East Valley Division.
